Castle Taufers is without doubt the most exciting destination for excursions, but also many other nice places of the Ahrntal valley are worthy to be visited! Each of them is telling you ancient stories about the local lifestyle: the Holy ghost church, famous for its cross with bullet holes, the nature park houses or the museum of the crib visions "Marantha" with its life-size wooden figures. The wood carving and the manufacturing of knitting wool are the most important traditions as are the many local bands, the "Schützen" and the local folk dance groups: have a look at the many events!
